Prim Quilts

Have you seen this magazine written up on other blogs??

I found a copy at JoAnn's the other day. The cover quilt is just too cute.

There were several other projects that really caught my eye.

I'd love to make this one using some of my Civil War fabrics.

Do you like Primitive quilts?? I've always liked the Civil War fabrics and patterns. Sometimes Primitives can be a little on the dark side for me. But this magazine seems to have some very nice designs. Have you made any quilt patterns from Primitive Quilts and Projects??

I like how they look, but have no desire to make them. My mom, on the other hand, she would LOVE them!

I am not into making primitives and don't have any in my house, but I do appreciate and admire the ones that others make. Have fun with that book!

XOXO,

Cyndi

I love and subscribe to this magazine. I have not made any quilts yet but I have one of the embroidered designs traced but have not taken the time to start it yet.

I am working on a rather contemporary quilt, card trick, but using Civil War fabrics and it is turning out beautifully!
I can't wait to pick up this magazine, thanks for sharing!

I am a "sucker" for spools! I collect wooden ones; started by some I found in my grandmother's attic. This is definitely one on my list if I ever get time again to quilt. XOXO

Love primitives!!! I, too don't like things too dark though. I haven't made anything yet out of the magazine, but have thoroughly enjoyed the eye candy! :-)
