Giveaway

Do you enjoy the Elm Creek Quilters series by Jennifer Chiaverini??  I have read about half of her publications.  Always some fun and interesting stories about quilters.

So today I have a new Jennifer Chiaverini book to offer my readers.  It's called An Elm Creek Quilts Companion.

Here is an excerpt from the fly leaf.
"Over the course of the bestselling Elm Creek Quilts series, readers have expressed a longing to visit Elm Creek Manor,  meet the quilters themselves, and admire their beautiful creations.  An Elm Creek Quilts Companion is the next best thing to a guided tour.  Inside, readers will discover a treasure trove of delights, including the Bergstrom family tree, character biographies, quilt block illustrations, full color photos of quilts featured in the novels, and an exclusive short story inspired by questions from real readers."

Truly this is an encyclopedia of everything you ever wanted to know about the Elm Creek Quilters.  With descriptions of each book and all of the characters that have played a part. I love the family tree, which helps in understanding some of the time line of the books.

And actual pictures of the beautiful quilts that were part of the series.

Plume Books has offered a copy of this new publication to one of my readers.  Leave a comment on this post telling me where you are from and which is your favorite Elm Creek Quilts book.  Be sure that I have a way to contact you.  Followers of my blog (either by GFC, email, or any of the other readers) may leave a second comment for an additional entry.  I will close the giveaway next Friday.

Happy quilting, and reading :-)

I am from PA and since I have only finished one of her books, the first one, I guess that is my favorite (although I am sure that will change as I read more and more of her books).

I have not ready any of the books so far because my reading time is very limited right now. The Elm Creek series is on my to-read list, and I'm looking forward to it! I'd love to have the quilt book anyway because I love quilt books. Thanks for the chance!

I've really enjoyed the Elm Creek books. I think my favorite was the Aloha Quilt, but they could be because I had visited many of the spots Jennifer mentions and I love the Hawaiian quilts. Thanks.

This isn't a trick answer. I'm from Texas, but, I'm currently misplaced in Illinois. My fav Elm Creek book is the first one. I've read it many times. I like to have the pattern book next to me as I read the books, so that I can remember the quilt blocks as they come up in the books. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love Jennifer's books. My favorite being the Quilter's Apprentice. We went to a book signing with Jennifer and it was so much fun to hear her speak about the books and the backgrounds for writing them. I would love to have a chance to win the quilt book (the book store didn't have it when we were there). I am from Pennsylvania.

I'm from NC (although I lived in FL for 23 years). My favorite book is Quilter's Apprentice. I love all the books in the series, but this is where the main two characters were developed, Sarah learned about quilting, and where the concept of the quilt camp began.

I'm originally from Illinois, but after travelling the world with my soldier husband, we've settled in Florida. The Giving Quilt is one of my favorites, as I'm heavily involved with making childrens quilts for a local charity. But I also loved the Aloha Quilt, maybe because I got to live in Hawaii for three year.
