Always make homemade projects for Christmas. Last year the 3 kids each got a quilt. One was a king size!!! This year am going smaller, they are going to get a tree skirt. Thanks for this chance.

I try to make things for Christmas every year. I always think that I'll start early enough get them done, but it rarely happens that they all get finished in time.

I usually make quilty things for Christmas. Quilts I get done but smaller projects usually end up being last minute. Thanks for the giveaway.
I make quilts and other quilty things for Christmas gifts and I work on them throughout the year. It makes me happy to give handmade gifts and the recipients seem to appreciate them as well.
I do enjoy making quilty things for Christmas gifts and while I have started yet...it won't be long :)

Usually, everyone gets a mini quilt, to go on the mini quilt rack, I gave several years ago. I started mine, but, put it down, several months ago. I really need to pull them back out and finish them (bunnies for spring).
Yes I do! All of my Christmas gift are hand made and quilted by me!
Thank you for the opportunity to win!

I always start early (in May this year!) but then get distracted and am usually still sewing on Christmas eve! x

I love to make quilty things for Christmas but often I overestimate the time it will take. Sometimes they become Valentine's Day gifts! ;-)
I often wait to almost time to start my projects. Lots of stress doing it this way
I usually leave the quilty gifts for birthday presents, baby showers, and wedding gifts. Christmas is too much of a crunch for me, so no, I haven't started because I would be that down to the wire kind of person!

I do make quilty projects for Christmas. They're not always Christmasy but are presents - bags, pillows, quilts.
What a fun giveaway....I sometimes wait until the last minute but I do make quilty stuff through out the year.
I like to find something small to make at Xmas...something that works for co-workers, neighbors, etc. This year it will be microwave bowl holders...and no I haven't started them yet...soon...famous last words. ;o)

Of course I make quilty things for Christmas gifts and yes I have started to work on some. Thanks for the great giveaway.
I have a runner finished but that is it. I need to make 3 quilts for my great nephews. I might get these done.
I always have good intentions to have a jump start on the Holidays but as in the past I haven't thought about Christmas yet. I like to give hand sewn gifts but have learned to sew small projects.

I tend to be last minute, every year I tell myself to start on the cards early, have to own up to not making any last year all shop bought
I do enjoy making quilts presents for Christmas. Something's I have planned for this year are some table runners and potholders, maybe try some oven mitts too. I do work on them all year.

Hi, I have made quilts as Christmas presents, but I have never made anything with a Christmas theme. That will change this year, because my sweet husband was wandering around the quilt shop as I was shopping and he stumbled into their Christmas room. It is a room dedicated to Christmas all year round and my Steve loves his Christmas holiday. He was in heaven in that room, LOL. He has asked for a Christmas quilt this year . . . so that is on my list to do this fall:)
Thank you again for the opportunity to get in on your give-a-ways.
Connie :)
I love to make quilty things for Christmas. Usually small table top quilts and pincushions. Sometimes, cross-stitch Santa tree ornaments. Love the fabrics in your giveaway, they would make sweet backings for my tree ornaments.
I'm a follower of yours.
For the first time in a long time I actually have one Christmas gift finished!! A lap quilt for our petsitter. Jumping on the gift bandwagon months ahead is so much better than the alternative I gone with in years past. The rushing is too stressful ")
I'm a happy follower of Happy Cottage Quilter!!
I try to make everyone at least something, not always quilty though. I do my best to space them out through the year, but I am always rushing near the end.
I make most of my gifts but am just getting started for this year.
I am an email follower of Happy Cottage Quilter.
I love to make Christmas gifts, but rarely start until at least Thanksgiving and usually later than that. I have been known to get up early Christmas morning to make that one last thing! I'm bad!!!
Rarely have time to work on any gifts until fall.Would love to be preparing now.
Yes I am working on Christmas projects & I am also a last minute crafter. So last minute that 3 of my projects were started 2 Christmases ago! Yikes! thanks
I have not even thought about Christmas yet. Which is not like me at all.

I am so far behind on things I needed done in the Spring, it may take me to December to get summer projects done, so Christmas gifts may not be handmade this year. eek.

I love Christmas anytime, I'm always making something in Christmas fabric....late for one year, early for the next!
I have not made any Christmas gifts so far. Not sure if I will this year.
I love making quilty things for Christmas!

I don't get serious about Christmas until after Thanksgiving and by then it's usually too late to start any Christmas sewing! Every year I say I'm going to start earlier, but never seem to get around to it.
I do like to make small Christmas presents like table runners and stockings. I try to start early and I'm actually working on some hand embroidered stockings now.

I definitely make quilty things for Christmas! I make little things as the mood strikes all year round, and some of them end up being Christmas presents, but the real Christmas making doesn't begin until November, which is really when all I want to do is make presents for people! sarah@forrussia.org
