Usually, everyone gets a mini quilt, to go on the mini quilt rack, I gave several years ago. I started mine, but, put it down, several months ago. I really need to pull them back out and finish them (bunnies for spring).

I love to make quilty things for Christmas but often I overestimate the time it will take. Sometimes they become Valentine's Day gifts! ;-)

I often wait to almost time to start my projects. Lots of stress doing it this way

claudia said...

I usually leave the quilty gifts for birthday presents, baby showers, and wedding gifts. Christmas is too much of a crunch for me, so no, I haven't started because I would be that down to the wire kind of person!

Hi, I have made quilts as Christmas presents, but I have never made anything with a Christmas theme. That will change this year, because my sweet husband was wandering around the quilt shop as I was shopping and he stumbled into their Christmas room. It is a room dedicated to Christmas all year round and my Steve loves his Christmas holiday. He was in heaven in that room, LOL. He has asked for a Christmas quilt this year . . . so that is on my list to do this fall:)
Thank you again for the opportunity to get in on your give-a-ways.
Connie :)

I love to make quilty things for Christmas. Usually small table top quilts and pincushions. Sometimes, cross-stitch Santa tree ornaments. Love the fabrics in your giveaway, they would make sweet backings for my tree ornaments.

For the first time in a long time I actually have one Christmas gift finished!! A lap quilt for our petsitter. Jumping on the gift bandwagon months ahead is so much better than the alternative I gone with in years past. The rushing is too stressful ")

I try to make everyone at least something, not always quilty though. I do my best to space them out through the year, but I am always rushing near the end.

I definitely make quilty things for Christmas! I make little things as the mood strikes all year round, and some of them end up being Christmas presents, but the real Christmas making doesn't begin until November, which is really when all I want to do is make presents for people! sarah@forrussia.org
