Fall Quilts

When fall is in the air, don't you want to dig out your fall quilts?

I started this quilt several years ago, following a pattern by Thimbleberries. I quickly lost the pattern, and it sat unfinished. Recently I just decided to wing it, and put the cut pieces together and came out with this! I still have left over cut fabric, but if this is ever to get done it will have to be completed in a new style ;-)

Happy Fall Quilting!

It is fun to have different quilts for different seasons and to change them out around our homes. I have always loved Thimbleberries. You did a great job on making this quilt work with out having the directions. Good luck on keeping going and getting this one quilted.

One person's lost pattern is another's design opportunity! Very nice finish.

Whoop whoop! I love this and think it looks perfect just the way it is. I'm headed to a quilt show today and taking two 10 yr old granddaughters....such fun.

Which reminds me of the 2 quilts I have not finished yet, but I quickly vanish the guilt and promise myself this year will be the year I'll finish them!!!

Whoop. Whoop. Good for your. We are sister quilters. I loose things too. Mainly because most of my stuff is in storage! I live through every one else's work. Thanks for sharing.
