I LOVE Frixion pens, I use them all the time for my stitcheries. I'm not too steady with the permanent markers, and want something erasable. I don't think I'd use them for quilting. But for white fabric, or for stitcheries, I really love them!
what is it for? just signing your labels for permanency?
popped over and read all about the pens, i have bought one but not used it as the cold can make the lines come back and my house is very cold in winter! It certainly was informative and so many comments added by those who had tried the pens, yes I will avoid them
I've never used the Frixion pens, and now reading that the manufacturer has said that they're not made for using on fabric, I think I'll continue to avoid using them. ;-)
I have used Frixion pens on several quilt and embroidery projects. I love it because the markings do not disappear until I am ready for them to. Personally, I have never had any marks stay or return after the item has cooled.
However, I did watch a demo in our LQS where the pen left a ghost mark on a t-shirt.
Suppose you should follow the directions and mark on a test piece of fabric before you use it on your project.
Good to know!
