So when I first saw Glace by Three Sisters, it was love at first sight. I bought several pieces and used a Miss Rosie's Schnibbles quilt pattern.
When I made this quilt I was short of fabric, so I didn't make the piano border. And finding more of this fabric became a challenge.
But somehow, along the way, I found a charm pack and a Jolly Bar that I immediately snatched up. But how do you use just one charm pack? Most patterns call for at least two. Grumble....
As I was cleaning out my stash closet, I came upon a Moda Bake Shop pattern that I had saved from a few years ago. A pattern called Baby Lattice Quilt by Amy Smart of Diary of a Quilter. Low and behold, the pattern could be made with one charm pack and a fat quarter. I had that.
I had that!!
Not needing to cut out the 5" squares really was a time saver. So little by little I started building this quilt.
Don't you love the soft colors? I really love anything that Three Sisters designs.
So here it is! The lattice lined up beautifully and I'm excited about the next step of quilting.
Sure does make for Happy Quilting!

I've never been into a fabric line. I'll pick one, maybe a couple of fabrics from the line, then add other fabrics too those. I only followed a fabric line once, when I got several sets of charm squares on sale, and they also had some of the yardage left, too. Made my niece a graduation quilt with all of that.
Oh I have found myself in your predicament many times...maybe that's why I have made so many scrappy quilts :}}} I'm glad you found a pattern and had enough to do this lattice work. Lovely quilts...hugs, Julierose
I'm a lover of Three Sister designs too! I made the Baby Lattice quilt earlier this year and enjoyed making it so much, that I think I'll make another. It is perfect for charm squares and your fabric choices!
very pretty fabric, like you I have some charm packs take them out a look thinking how lovely but so far never used any as you say 1 is not usually enough but this pattern is ideal a great quilt
this really turned out lovely. looking forward to seeing what it looks like finished.
You can't go wrong with Three Sisters. Yes, I'm always finding myself looking for more of a fabric. You would think that with all the Fat Quarter Bundles, I would find something I wanted....:)
It is beautiful.I love 3 Sisters fabric.
I rarely find an entire fabric line that I love - but I'm TERRIBLE at putting colors together, so it helps to get a fat quarter bundle, lol. Only on sale though! I'm thinking I should just stick with batiks, they go together no matter what, lol. Your quilts are just gorgeous, that is a really pretty line!
