Until I Met You" is the second book in the Restoring Heritage series by Tari Faris. The first book, "You Belong with Me" introduces you to many of the characters.
The stories takes place in the town of Heritage Michigan. Libby Kingsley is a shy librarian, given the task of revitalizing the town library, but in the basement? Of town hall? She moves to Heritage to be near her brother Luke and sister in law Hannah. But her first meeting with neighbor Austin Williams is anything but pleasant.
Nate Williams has changed his life. From reckless to compassionate Pastor. The only one he can't seem to get along with is his brother, Austin. Olivia Mathews' chances of being a reporter lie in moving 1600 miles away from Heritage. But she still has hopes for Nate, although he resists her every time they are together.
You get to know more about Austin and Libby, Luke and Hannah, Olivia and Nate. Characters that are a full part of this story. And we can't forget Otis!
I loved how these stories play out. The hurts, unforgiveness, anger and the resulting way things that heat up are soon resolved. As Austin and Libby and Nate and Olivia work together, they grow in their relationships, and their romance blossoms.
Tari Faris' writing style is easy to read and yet deep enough to keep your interest. Good clean inspirational fiction. I had a hard time putting this one down.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are my honest opinion.
