Quilt City USA

Where is the quilting mecca? Why Paducah, of course. There are many quilting shows nowadays, but going to Paducah is an adventure in itself.

Three years ago I went to Paducah with my BFF. We said we would be back. But things happen, life throws curve balls, and we did not make it there. BUT we have been blessed to be able to return to the Quilting City this year!

We've talked about it, and tried to make plans, but this time it is happening. We even found a hotel room IN Paducah! Woo-hoo!

Anyone else going??

I would love to go to Paducah. It has been one of my quilty wishes, but it just hasnt worked out. I think that my husband and I will plan a camping trip up that way for April next year. Have a great time and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Lucky you. Wish I could go but I have too much going on in my life. I have a friend who lives near there. She's not a quilter but I know she'd put me up and maybe even venture into the show.

I wish I was going! Maybe some day. I do make it to the International Quilt Festival in Houston and it wears me out!

Wear good shoes and buy gel inserts-even if you don't use them on a day-to-day basis. Have fun!

My MIL wants me to take her and I don't know much about it. Could you email me the dates or the link to the show? Is it a show? Blessings!

Yahoo!!!! I'm going for the first time ever. My friend Brenda is taking classes in quilt appraisal. I offered to go with her. We are arriving Tuesday evening. Will head for home on Saturday. Would love to try and meet up if that's possible!

I'll be there Wednesday through Saturday morning! We are staying at Kentucky Lake Dam. Last year I took the bus from here (St. Louis) and it wasn't near enough time! This year 3 friends are joining me, so it will be a blast!

I'll be there this year for the first time! Going with my mom who lives in Eastern KY. I'm so jealous that you got a room in Paducah! We'll be driving in and then driving back out to find a place to sleep at night ~ playing it by ear, but we'll be there, even if we sleep in the car Lol!
