Christmas is coming???

It looks like Christmas is coming, whether I am ready or not. Do you feel more pressure to get things done when you realize that Christmas is only 9 weeks away??

I'm trying to get my ducks in a row and work on things that are to be Christmas gifts.

I wish you could see the black blender fabric on this quilt. It looks like lace and looks very pretty with this rose fabric.

I plan to use black batting to keep the unity of the quilt in case of bearding.

We've had a little bit of a cold snap here. Down in the 50's in the evenings. We even had a leaf or two that showed a little bit of color.

But we are still surrounded with this -

It's got to get a lot colder before we lose these pretties.

Your cold snap sounds warm to me. It was -1 Celsius this morning here with heavy frost on the ground and ice fog in the air. Your quilt looks beautiful!

UGH, I don't want to think how close we are to Christmas. I have a few gifts ordered, but none to be made started. Your quilt will be beautiful. Using the black batting is such a good way to go.

Only nine weeks? Really? I haven't even started to prepare for the holidays.

Nice job on your quilt. I was able to see some of the detail of your black fabric in one of your photographs. Very nice!

Oh yes the pressure is on for sure....that table runner is just GORGEOUS, my dear, I can see the lacy effect in your second pic, truly stunning.
I don't want to hear about 50's in the evenings....we're not getting that high during the DAY, lol!!! Enjoy it!

Eeeks! Did you have to remind me just how close Christmas really is? I am SO not ready! That black and rose quilt is TO-DIE-FOR... just beautiful! I love that combination of fabrics.

Yep, my BIL in St. Pete has glorious Impatiens...I don't think his ever die! Yours are looking pretty great, too!

XOXO,

LOL! "A leaf or two that showed a bit of color".... I call that DEAD! Dear Mrs. P, you need to come to Ohio and see a bit of color. :) Or better yet fly me down to Florida and I'll bring some pretty leaves with me for you to see. :) :) Love ya!
