I'm trying to keep a little sparkle in the house for the New Year
But pretty soon we will be decorating like this............
Do you decorate for all of the seasons??
There are a couple of things I want to share that I made, but I can't post them until the recipients receive them ;-)
Enjoy your day!

Cute little heart! THere's no excuse to not decorate for the different seasons now that I'm a quilter! I guess it's time to start thinking about Valentine's day.
I'll be doing the Christmas clean up on Saturday...but the hearts won't come out until a little later in the month. But they will come out -- I sure do enjoy seasonal decorating, no matter the season! :)
I usually don't and though looking forward for this weekend - holding a small celebration "to welcome" the Three Wise Man (and bidding farewell to Christmas) - I'm also anxious to have my house back to me.
But I've seen so much inspiration in the net that I might get myself doing something so we don't have that after-holidays-let-down :).
Your suggestions are lovely. And I agree, putting all away is not nearly as much fun but I always get surprised how faster it is to put away than put it all up - makes no sense, it's the same things, right?
Enjoy the remaining Sparkle and have a Wonderful New Year!
I like to decorate a little for the seasons. I have a little kit for a heart quilt I want to make this year. I don't haven anything for St. Patrick's day.
I just finished taking down and putting away Christmas, too. What a job! But, it's worth it. I don't normally decorate for all the holidays - usually just Fall and Winter. My house is so small and I don't have a lot of storage space, so no room to store all of the decorations. But I really enjoy seeing how my blog friends decorate for the different seasons/holidays!
Have a great day!
XOXO,

I have been doing the same, and agree, it takes so long! But perhaps it just SEEMS to take a long time as it certainly isn't as much fun as the pre-xmas decorating! Will start a heart theme beginning of February - until then I will just keep cleaning and reorganising the bookcases etc. - the smell of furniture polish and cleaners is very rewarding! Spiders PLEASE stay away!
I like that stepstool of yours! It looks substantial enough for someone who has a fear of heights -me, for instance!! Yes, can you believe it? I even have a difficult time getting up on a stepstool. What a wimp. Anyway, I would love to decorate for all the holidays, but I usually find them upon me before I've had time to do it. At the very least, I try to decorate for the seasons.
I love decorating! So, I usually find a theme for each month. This week end the Christmas will be coming down and the snowmen will appear for January.

I love to but I don't seem to have as many items as I do for Fall and Christmas. Happy New Year!!
Actually, my husband and I had this conversation as he was boxing our tree up and carrying it out. He asked me was it worth it with all the work. I Love Christmas so this was a hard one. But actually with him with a bad back, and me with my sore hands, I understand what he is saying. We might just consider a smaller tree next year. Just saying....
