Taking a tour

Last week my hubby and I took a drive north of where we live to look at a used long arm.  The quilt shop sells new HQ machines, but when people up-grade, they try to sell their older machines.

I love looking around quilt shops and breathing in all the inspiration.

I

No long arm for me.  The frames are too large for the area where I would put it.  And they are still a little hard for me to manuever in a standing position.  But it was fun to take a look anyway.

It's almost like going to a Quilt show :-)

Happy Quilting.

That is a lovely quilt shop. I haven't been in one in over a year. Maybe a little fabric shopping will help me get my mojo back :0)

Oh, I can see that inspiration is ALL AROUND the shop! Such beautiful pieces!
Maybe a long-arm is in your future yet.

Looks like a fun trip. I'd love to have a longarm--I'd have to reorganize my sewing room, but I could find room!

I just visited this shop a few weeks ago while visiting my in-laws! Hope you had a great time there!

I love my HQ long arm! We've learned how to "dance" across the quilt top together. I have to take the lead since I'm not computerized.....and it follows me around the quilt doing everything I ask it to do.
