Never a lack of good food.
It's also fun to see all the cousins together.
Today's Promise: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. |

Wow -- quite a spread! That's part of the fun of Christmas, isn't it? Playing out family traditions and sometimes even creating new ones!! :)
Christmas greetings to you! Our family tradition is that we gather for a brunch on Christmas eve and open presents(there are 17 of us when we are together), then on Christmas night we have a dinner with eveeryone. Both of our daughters split up the meals, but we all take dishes. Loved hearing about yours.
Hugs, Noreen
Way, way back, when I was in high school (or before) our family would attend the Christmas Eve service at our church, with close friends, and then all of us would go out for Chinese food. This continued, as we had extra guests for the holidays, and, as the kids all got married, and had kids of our own. We moved away, 20 years ago, but, we still try to find a Chinese restaurant to eat at on Christmas Eve. Last year we invited the pastor and his wife, and another family to join us.
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Jocelyn!
Christmas traditions are great spanning over several generations!
