On a cold winter day

I've been a tad bit under the weather for a few days. Not really feeling like doing much. So to keep my hands busy, I started knitting a scarf from some cute yarn that my daughter gave me.

I LOVE THIS YARN!!!! It is so much fun to work with. I wish I knew how to knit a hat, as I would have a matching one.

But maybe I will get a second chance, because my daughter also gave me these -

And if you pop over to my thrifting blog, I posted some fun information about

SNOWFLAKES
Check it out..........

Have a safe and warm weekend. And Happy Quilting!

Go ahead and try a hat! I am not a big knitter and I figured it out!

Hope you feel better soon. I bet you could knit a hat!

Love the scarf...it looks so warm and cozy! You should try knitting a hat! If you can knit and purl, you can make a hat...they are easy!

Sorry you haven't been feeling well. January is like that, isn't it? The yarn your daughter gave you is wonderful! Love the texture it gives the scarf.

I'm having fun with yarn, too. Knitting and crocheting. I'm learning more with each project.

My grown DD has learned to crochet within the last year. She went from scarves to hats and is driving her family batty with all the headware! You can knit a hat...try it with simpler yarn first.

Your scarf is going to be amazing...and lucky you have more yarn to do more...or make a hat...would make an adorable hat.

Love that yarn! I only know the basics of knitting so I would have to stick to a scarf, too. :)

Thanks for the good recommendation on this yarn! I'm knitting scarves for my sons. I was thinking I'd like to knit another for me. I may try this yarn if I can find it locally. Hope that you are feeling better! We've had sick family members since Jan. 1st. Ready for everyone to get well:) Take care!
