SEW-per Bowl

What did you do during the game yesterday?? We had our own SEW-per Bowl party :-)

Anina on the Twiddletales Blog completed her 12 Days of Christmas quilt. And this year, the quilting buddies received the panel as Christmas gifts. So we ventured to make our own version of Anina's adorable quilt.

Cutting strips

No Sew-per Bowl party is complete unless there is food............

Little by little it is coming together

And of course we auditioned some borders.

Hope your Sew-per Bowl party was as much fun as ours was :-)

I did a little piecing of blocks for my blue and white Irish chain ... and some ripping out of the sub-cuts that I made incorrectly. :-(

Very, very pretty! Would you believe we didn't watch the game? Not ever the commercials. LOL! :)

Too cute! I was busy watching the game and rooting for my hometown Giants over Hubs hometown team Patriots so no sewing for me. If the Giants played poorly, I'm sure I'd have gotten a lot more done but I'll take the win over some project work, thanks! LOL

Oh my, you girls must have had sew much fun. Sorry, couldn't resist. The blocks look lovely. I didn't even watch the game since my Packers weren't going to be in it, I just couldn't get interested in it.
Have a great week.

How darling!!! I didn't do much sewing yesterday, mostly ripping - but there was a Bob Hope/Bing Crosby movie marathon on, and I thoroughly enjoyed my day, lol!

Your sew-per bowl party sounds like fun. I thought of my activities as attending the Quilt bowl, but I really like your sew-per bowl party. And, love what you created too!

Your project is really cute. What a fun way to celebrate...were the men in the TV room? Looked like a big feast awaited. I did some sewing in the morning before our guests arrived. It was a terrific game. The M and M commercial was the best!
