Knitting nut
I know absolutely nothing about knitting. Like in nothing, nada!!
I can't read a pattern, so I don't know what any of those funny symbols mean.
But I enjoy clicking those needles back and forth.
It is very relaxing, vegging in front of the TV.
I really ought to take a class, so I can learn how to make something other then a scarf.
But until then, I will just knit back and forth and "HOPE" that I can knit enough to at least make a shawl.
I love shawls.

LOL - my skill level is the same as yours - but I would love to tackle socks! Although a shawl would be lovely, I think I'll have to try that too this winter.
I love to knit scarves. The occasional hat too:)

Yup ... this is right up my alley ... I have some lovely blue yarn and am clicking away on a basket weave baby blanket ... I discovered those big circular needles!
Well you know more than I do because your going back and forth with the knitting I can't even do that.
I am good at dishcloths...that is all. I want to make socks. I bought some pretty sock weight yarn, needles and a book. I hope to sit down next week after hubby goes back to work and learn something about making socks.
Like you I find knitting back and forth so relaxing. I could make dishcloths for everyone and be so happy.
I always enjoy knitting, but never seem to do any for some reason. I have been seeing some lovely shawls around blogland lately, but I don't think I'd ev er wear one. I might just have to make one anyway.
I am in the same boat. I look at those patterns and my brain goes to mush. I would love to be able to make a scarf but that usually doesn’t work out too well. I hope you can figure out how to make your shawl. Then you should send one to me!
