About the only way I like orange is if it is associated with a sunset.
Or fall
or pumpkins
Happy Quilting!
Today's Promise: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. |

I'm with you regarding the color orange. I only like it in quilts because it makes blue (my favorite color) pop more. A few years ago I began collecting orange fabrics and used them to make an orange chevron quilt for my brother. Then later I made Bonnie Hunter's Orange Crush quilt using orange, rusty red and yellowish orange to make a quilt called "Marigold Fields". But the best was Carolina Crossroads with a constant orange to make the blue scraps sing. So maybe orange isn't so bad after all! Sandy at sewhigh.blogspot.com
Orange...it seems like one of those colors that you either love or hate, not much middle ground with that one!! I don't like it either, but I do use it to make my blues, purples and greens pop!!! Definite all right, in moderation!! I don't think I could ever make it the star of the show in a quilt!!
