Madeline, Madeline..........
I am starting to wish that I had ordered the French General fabric. This is such a pretty pattern. So I have been trying to decide how to make this pattern. One little hint about using yardage for a charm pack pattern -
1/4 yard = 8 squares
1 fat quarter = 12 squares
1/2 yard = 24 squares
3/4 yard = 40 squares
1 yard = 56 squares
To be continued...................

Thank you for the breakdown - it has joined my other reference notes...
The French General fabric would be lovely made up in that pattern. It is very nice fabric I agree to that.
Great break down of the yardage and squares. You'll make a wonderful fabric decision. :-)
I'll be anxious to see what you settle on. It will be wonderful!
It's going to be fun to see which fabric line you choose.
Thanks for doing the math. I would have kept on just guessing how much I need. Jump in with some fabric you have...but I too have coveted the French General.
I love French General fabric too.....Of course I'm loving about everything i see these days.....I think I NEED some retail therapy, but it will have to way. Now to print out your hints....I need all I can get.
The pattern is lovely setting on points. I love the orginal color. Thanks for the break down - Hugs Nat
I got that little quilt calendar I see in your background for Christmas from my daughter, and I see yours is on the 12th too.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and entering my giveaway. Sew nice to have visitors, isn't it?
What a great breakdown for the yardage, thanks! This is going to be such a pretty quilt.
Cool, thanks for doing the math!! I'm terrible with math LOL.

I just got this sweet little pattern too. Except I kinda cheated and ordered 2 of the Rouennaires charm packs to do it with! I'll check back to see what fabrics you chose :-D
Really lovely pattern! I'm sure you'll make the perfect decision. Thanks so much for your sweet visit! Have a great rest of the week!
Creative Blessings,
Lisa :)
Hey -- thanks for the tip on charms/yardage! That's great! I've been putting Madeline off myself, because I haven't figured out what fabric to use either! I can't wait to see what you pick--I may have to copy (LOL)!
I broke down and bought some of the French General fabric, I couldn't resist. Love the Madeline pattern, what size is it?? Thanks.
Can't wait to see how another beauty is going to unfold! :)
Have a great day!
