Love the new teapot blocks! ...I'm a tea drinker so I'm assuming those pots are for tea :-) And I'd love to 'join' you. It is sunny in my west coast neighborhood but still an excellent day to quilt. I just finished drinking a pot of Scottish Breakfast Tea...good, but I still prefer my English Breakfast...I know the world really wants to know that..LOL Anywho, I think I will prep another Psalms block and then get a quilt top on the quilt frame and see if I can't get inspired to get 'er done :-) It will be lovely to quilt with you today!
Unfortunately, I'm at work today, checking in on my lunch bread. It's snowy and icy here today, so I love the comfort of your very pretty block! Will be watching to see what it becomes when it grows up. STay cozy!
Oh, I've done that quilt and I love it. The blocks are so pretty and then when you put it all together it's just awesome. So sweet and so fun. Your blocks look better... mine are a touch wonky.
oh how lovely. so I have a question - do you purchase your fabrics locally or online? I'm not a quilter but my 12 yr ld daughter wants to give it a shot and my mother quilted and I can sew a bit, so I'm thinking of doing sample squares and if her itnerestholds out, we'll have enough to sew into a quilt top (and then it will be a hunt to find someone who knows what to do next!) but we only have a Hancock fabrics in town and they have a limited cotton quilting section-

Nothing better than sewing with friends. Even though it is not raining, that is what I am doing today.
