Blog Hop Party and giveaway

Are you ready to party?? Did you know that the Quilt Gallery is celebrating their 4th anniversary with a Blog Hop??

So today I am hosting a giveaway and I'd love for you to sign up. What am I giving away??

I was asked to review Jennifer Chiaverini's new book "The Wedding Quilt" and was given a copy to share with you. Now if you have never read any of the Elm Creek Quilts novels, this is the book for you. Let me tell you why. This book has a great story line, but it also interweaves the history of the Elm Creek Quilters and many of the previous stories are recapped throughout. It doesn't leave you guessing as to who is who, and what is what. I've read several in the series, but I've missed some, so I was able to catch up and keep going as the story unravels through the history of the Quilters. There is also a surprise at the

I am including a tote that I made for you to use as a book bag, or whatever you want. Just leave a comment on this post. Although it's not a requirement for entry, I would really love to know why you blog. I will close the giveaway in a week. Please be sure that I have a way to contact you if you are the winner.

Thanks so much for stopping by. And if you are a new visitor, I hope you will come back again.

Happy Quilting!

There are fiction books about quilting! Wow, how come this is the first I've heard of them!? I blog because I've lived in 5 countries in the last 5 years and I need a way to keep in touch with friends and family!

I love that wreath on your December 7th post. Why do I blog? It started because I was trying to transition from a career as a corporate marketing exec to a freelance writer and I needed the practice. Over time I found that I was spending much more time quilting and crafting, so that's what I write about now.

Hello!
I'm new to blogging as of this week, so my hope is that I will learn a lot from all the others out there (I"m new to quilting too!) and will also earn some advice and constructive criticism form others...as well as a little inspiration!
Thanks so much for the opportunity and have a relaxing weekend!

I love the Elm Creek books, and your bag is gorgeous!! I began my blog as a way to record all my craft stuff, but then it turned into more of a journal. Now I put everything into it and it's more like a family yearbook. In fact, I even get a book of the entries printed each year so our family really does have a yearbook of sorts. It's pricy, but so worth it!
