Finished!

The Project Linus quilts are done! Ready to be mailed.

For me, using these fabrics was a little bit of a But the quilting part was fun. I love practicing machine quilting on charity quilts. I know they will not be judged harshly and I have more freedom to experiment with stitches.

what bright and cheery project Linus quilts! your machine quilting looks fabulous! i always love reading that other quilters enjoy the quilting part of the process....it's wonderful when one can enjoy rather than dread that part, don't you think?

Those Linus quilts are really cute, but I can see why the second one was a bit of a challenge, but it still looks so good.

Your quilt turned out lovely and I know that they will be treasured. Project Linus is on my list for 2012. I hope to improve my new FMQ skills too and this does look like a great way to do that.

Great job! In college I was involved in an organization that did a philanthropy project each semester. One semester we chose Project Linus. Granted, they were only tied fleece blankets, but they were made with love. :)

Hopping over from crazy mom quilts.
