There were several comments asking about this pattern. I knew it was from a magazine, and I suspected it was from American Patchwork & Quilting. Well last night I started going through my healthy collection of AP&Q, and I found it!
The pattern was in this issue (April 1994).
It's called Cubed Lattice by Marti Michell. As you can see it is a 60" square, but there were further directions on making the quilt larger. I am thinking I will add another section to lengthen the size.
I'm also trying another project that has been seen all over quilting blogland. Can you guess what it is?? Maybe by tomorrow I can post a picture :-)
Have a happy quilting day!

Cubed Lattice is gorgeous!
Wow! Your colorway choice really changes the look of the quilt - I have to say I like yours better! Cool!
Your accidental landscape looks very good....they are so much fun to do.
Oh the quilt is gorgeous and the landscape is just unreal. I would love to do something like that. Just wanted to let you know that I know a package from you is waiting on me at home. We are out of town right now and I can't wait to get home to see it. Please send me the amt. so I can get it back to you. Thank you so much! I am so excited to see it. Oh and I am going to guess that it has something to do with potatoes???? Your new project? Just a guess.
Hi there, I always love seeing your projects and guess what-I finished my autumn quilt(again thank you for the info)and I posted a photo of it yesterday. It only took 5 hours to piece the top but a full week to hand quilt it. Wish we could get together and quilt...enjoy the weekend.
Hugs, Noreen

Your accidental landscape is beautiful! I love it. And let me guess...are you making a mug rug? :-)
Such beautiful quilts!! I'm trying to think if I've ever made a quilt from a magazine - heaven knows I have enough of them. Love your landscape!
Oooo love the landscape. I look forward to seeing what you are currently working on :0)

You are pretty determined to have found that pattern. How nice to have a large collection of inspiration to thumb through.
