A taste of Tradition

Have you ever figured out why it is that paying a visit to your Local Quilt Shop gives you a shot in the arm??  Like taking in a deep breath of fresh air??

That's what happens when we visit this place.

So many of the quilt shops here in the deep south are carrying mostly modern and theme fabrics.  The Plum Lane Quilt shop still has a nice selection of the traditional fabrics that I love.

It's always a good visit :-)

 (¯`v´¯)      Happy Quilting!

I always figured the high I get when walking into a quilt shop is from all the formaldehyde in the fabrics. No? Oh, yeah, it's from those creative juices that start flowing! Your local shop is adorable! Lucky you!

I too admire the more 'traditional' fabrics and quilting methods. They have some beautiful samples:) Lucky duck.
