Captivating Novel

Rarely do I read a book that captures me as much as A Name Unknown. Roseanna White's very well written novel captured me from the start with a clever story line. I was enchanted with her well developed characters, historical facts and the budding friendship that draws Rosemary and Peter together. You can't help but be drawn into Rosemary's difficult life and Peter's shunned world.

Rosemary Gresham, having lived on the streets of London, is a thief. One who provides for her large family. When she is given an assignment to discover if wealthy Peter Holstein is a traitor to the Crown, Rosemary doesn't let her lack of education or status keep her from attaining her goal. Posing as a well-credentialed librarian, Peter, whose name and stutter has kept him in a solitary life, believes Rosemary is the best person to help him prove his loyalty to England.

A totally engaging book which I found hard to put down. I totally enjoyed this book and would give it a higher rating than 5.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher. All views expressed are my honest opinion.
