Little by little

Well I worked on these boxes until I was really tired of them. I had to rip out several of them to redo.

I ended up deviating from the pattern. I did not want to make the 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" border. Mine always turn out wonky. So I just cut a 4" strip of red and it was done.

Then I decided that I was going to quilt the Harvest panel. But I had no cooperation from my free motion foot. It refused to work. I would sew an inch and the bottom thread would break. I changed the needle, the bobbin threat and tried again. No, nada....  So I put my trusty walking foot on. and we were good to go.
No fancy quilting. Just a wavy walk in the park :-)

What projects are you working on?
