A new room

Little by little we have been working on some of the rooms in the new house. I've not found pictures or many accents, but here is the master bedroom as we have worked on redoing it top to bottom.

Here is the way the Master bedroom looked the first time we toured the house.

I am not exactly sure what to do about window treatments yet, but at least it is a start :-)

What a difference!

It has been busy, busy, busy here. My BFF came down and spent a week to help me with some of the moving and lots of decisions. We have had a wonderful time together.

I wanted to share with you one very big change. Here is a picture of the carpeted stairs as it was when we bought the house.

Aren't they gorgeous?? My brother in law is a contractor and did the work. We are so happy with the new look.

A lovely surprise

Last year, I won a bouquet of Lavender from Alderwood Quilts. But somehow the bouquet never made it to my house.

So sweet Sue remembered and sent me this lovely bouquet of fresh lavender (which arrived on my anniversary :-)
