What a difference!

It has been busy, busy, busy here. My BFF came down and spent a week to help me with some of the moving and lots of decisions. We have had a wonderful time together.

I wanted to share with you one very big change. Here is a picture of the carpeted stairs as it was when we bought the house.

Down to the bare bones.

The beginning of a new look.

The completed make over!

Aren't they gorgeous?? My brother in law is a contractor and did the work. We are so happy with the new look.

Hope you are having a great week. More to come .....

I love the new work! There is just something about wood that I love. And carpet always shows the wear and tear.

I for sure have a lot of catching up on this new house! The stairs are gorgeous! We are getting in the mood to sell our home. I doubt it will be anytime soon but we are wanting to downsize in yard and house so we can have some fun! I will catch up on your house tomorrow while I am in the hotel!

I just found your blog and enjoyed your pics of the ongoing decorating of your new house. If all goes well, I may have the same task in a couple of months!
