Horray!

(Horray! This weekend I went to my LQS and guess what I found! YES French General! I was so delighted to find this beautiful fabric locally. And what a surprise, as our shops have not carried any of the lines that I have loved. So I am enjoying a little bit of a mix for my Madeline Schnibbles :-) I got so carried away that I thought it would be appropriate to write this post in French! Good for my stash!
I have still been feeling sluggish and slow with this new medication. Not much pep or enthusiasm lately. I sure hope it will pass. Thanks for all of your kind words.

Oh happy day. Don't you just love it when you find something you love. Hope your meds get regular soon.
Well you tossed me for a loop when I found this post and I couldn't understand it. :-) It's like finding a gold mine when you score the fabric you've been wanting to get your hands on isn't it?! Hopefully that sluggish feeling will subside soon....I'm waiting to see your latest Schnibble!!
Hope you're feeling peppy and full of life's zest, soon! Love the fabrics-that red is yummy. :)
Whew! You scared me for a sec!
I can understand your excitement over French General. I've been lusting over it but must resist for now.
Sorry about the medication reaction. sometimes it does take a while. I hate that! Hope to see you back sewing soon.
Ooh, are you going to do another Schnibbles from your "score"?
I couldn't read French so I'm glad you translated. LOL
Ohh I hope that French General fabric continues to cheer you up. :) It is gorgeous fabric!!
I can't wait to see your version of Madeline!
Bravo! Je parle un petite peu de Francais aussi mais je comprehend trop de Frencais :)
I wish I knew more! Where did you learn French?
LOL - I thought Google was messing with me when I saw your post!!!!! Good for you on finding that fabric, oh my it's YUMMY!
WOW ... that was a little scary at first. Thought I'd landed in Paris! I just LOVE French General. Hope getting that fabric fix made you feel a little better.
Those French General fabrics are great- so vintage-y. Can't wait to see what you make with them.
I have the same problem here, the quilt shops I go to don't carry a lot of the fabrics I like. I am glad you found some of the French General fabrics, I have yet to see any.
Wow, I'm impressed. I nearly have to use the Google translator to read it! Love the fabrics and I have to check out this Madeline Schnibbles that everyone is making. Sorry to hear you are still not yourself. Hugs Nat
I read the french, all the time thinking, where is the transaltor when we need it. I am french originally, so I haven't forgotten it all. Too funny!
Great fabric find.
Do you take Vitamin D? It's the one vitamin that we need but don't get any of in the winters here in the north...google it, at least 2000 units a day! I'm feeling good! and believe it or not my sweetie is raving about it too!
Jocelyn - I didn't expect to read French on your blog. I thought I had come to a wrong blog... hahaha.
Beauuuutiful fabrics!
Oh my goodness! Those fabrics are to die for! I hope you are feeling more peppy soon. It's hard sometimes getting used to new meds!
I haven't forgotten your table topper! I've had a sinus infection so don't feel like sewing but I promise I will get it to you before Christmas!
You are the third blogger that has mentioned French General. I am going to have to find some as they are lovely. Plus I might learn to speak French. LOL! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your name is in the drawing. :-)
Hi Jocelyn! Terri Smith here for a quick visit. Love the new colors being used! Beautiful. Hope you've been well. Stop by anytime. Warmest wishes from Dimples & Dragonflies. :-)
You speak French -- how wonderful! So glad you got some of the Rouenneries -- it's lovely! Hope things go better with your medicine soon!
Lucky you! What gorgeous fabrics. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them.
I thought your page messed up and translated it from English to French. I know some French words - no, not that kind of words, I took French until grade 9 - but not really enough to read a sentence.
Well I certainly got some practice with my long since forgotten French!!!
I hope you are feeling better. Take it easy! Anytime you need some fabric I can locate up here in big Atlanta just let me know. I will be your personal shopper.
Pat
The new line from French General is coming out Rural Jardin...ooh la la.
I was confused!! haha!! Hope you are dealing with your meds better today, and the fabric is way cool!! (I'm behind and attempting to catch up!)
I, too, thought I clicked something on the keyboard to turn your blog to French. So glad it's not that - then I'd have an "electronic" problem and I don't like those!!
My mom is well, thanks for asking. She's going to be 101 years old. Doesn't seem possible. Well, you know from my blog how she looks, but she's so WITH IT!! God bless her.
Take care and God bless you also with energy and vitality.. Linda
I'd be happy too finding that fabric. It is lovely! I suggest trying vitamin D also. My Dr. suggested we take it during the winter months. He even does too! Thanks for stopping by today!
Beautiful fabrics! Fun to see what another VTT quilter is up to.
Oh, I wished I had your talent for quilting. Just beautiful.
Hope you are feeling better. I just did a post on my French General purchase. I think we bought the same exact fabrics. When I walked into my LQS, I wanted to buy every bolt. I still haven't decided yet what to do with it, but your quilt is beautiful. I also wanted to know if the address I have for you is still ok to use to mail you a package.
Take care,
Karen
