Wave a Flag today

In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened that day by resolution of the Second Continental Congress in 1777.

For the total background concerning this holiday, pop over and read Flag Day in the United States.

May our flags wave high!

Happy Quilting

Thanks for the reminder! I use to teach flag etiquette to my 6th graders. They had no idea that there were rules to go by for respecting our flag. Have a great day. Julia

We are usually good about flying our flags. I'm embarrassed that we didn't display our flag today. Shoot me now. Very embarrassing.

But I was busy sewing patriotic quilt blocks.
