I'm from Virginia, but I was fascinated by your license plates. We always play the License Plate game during the summer. This year we just had a staycation, but you can still find loads of states just going around your area. My teen daughter was keeping the list on her cell phone - then dropped it into the pool (accidentally). And that was the end of our License Plate game for 2011 :) I love your manatees and I'd have to vote for that one as my fave. By the way, which type do *you* have?

Canada, Ontario actually, and our licence plate is Nascar88, not my favourite driver but Ernhardt gets me looks all the time.
When we go to the US with that plate, you wouldn't believe how many honks and thumbs up we get.
As we head to Panama City for the winter this year you can bet it will be well received. Great blog Jacqui.

Hello: this is such fun seeing where your "followers" are living! I am in England - I live in a small village on the River Tamar - which is the boundary between Devon and Cornwall. It is very beautiful, though we do seem to get a lot of rain - but that can be good because then I can sit and sew!
Today it has rained a lot - so I made plum chutney this morning and then I drove over to my very favourite patchwork shop (Cowslip in Launceston, Cornwall). A very good day! Thank you for a lovely Blog. x

wow! Florida sure does have an array of plates since I lived there. All we had was the orange back then.
I live in NC and we now have quite an array here too. Used to be the only plate you saw was the Wright Bros. plane.
