Well my sister in love found Patsy Thompson's Fast and Free 0.5 at JoAnn's last week. I was thrilled to know that I could locate this DVD close to home. So I went to JoAnn's on Friday but was disappointed to not find it. This was a smaller JoAnn's, so I figured maybe they did not carry everything that the larger stores carry. Yesterday I went to another JoAnn's, and they did not have it either. bummer........
So finally after a round-d-round trip, I made my way to the JoAnnETC store. And YES, they had it! I was also happy to be able to use my 40% off coupon.

Don't you just love when you find something and a 40% coupon too...woo hoo. I love to machine quilt, but I hate when you have to squeeze the quilt in between the needle and the inside of the arm. That's why I stick to throw and baby quilts. Good luck with the DVD!

Patsy Thompson does some amazing quilting, doesn't she? FMQ is really something that I want to be able to do, but I haven't been brave enough to try it. Please share your practice pieces...I'm anxious to see how it goes for you!
I have been to her web site too and would love to have one of her dvd's. I didn't know Joanns carried them. I will have to look. Maybe they can order me one if they don't have it in.I really want to learn to do that. Thanks.
Fast and free I like the sound of that !

I always say before you start quilting, have a glass of wine on your sewing table and keep sipping til it is all gone and your free motion will be wonderful. Have fun.
What a fun adventure you are embarking on!! I look forward to seeing your work!
Hugs.
I've learned a lot with her videos and I still watch them as a little refreshment, it is a great help. I wish you a lot of fun!
