ER

What does ER stand for?? Well I guess it could stand for several things.

Engine Revving...
Energy Release...
Epic Review...

but as the most common use, when we see the letters ER, we know they stand for Emergency Room

On Sunday afternoon, I was staying with my mother in law and we both took a tumble. Thankfully my mil is fine but I ended up taking a little ride in an ambulance, strapped down like a cocoon, and payed my first visit to the Emergency Room. After several hours and some xrays, it was determined that I have a compression fracture of t11.

So my friends, I will be out of commission for a little while. I am writing this under the influence of pain medication, but I don't think I will be able to sit at the computer for any length of time. Please remember me in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy and complete recovery. I love hearing from each of you but if I do not respond to your comments, you will know why.

Let me know what you are up to, as I am able to read my emails and comments on my iTouch.

Take care and happy quilting.

Hi, just want you to know that you will DEFINITELY be in my thoughts and prayers. I have added your name to my little ""prayer space"" on my wall in my office/study/studio!! Please take great care of yourself and I look forward to hearing that you are once more up and about without the pain medication.
My kindest regards and heartfelt wishes.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident! Pretend that I'm sitting here with you for a while and we're having tea in fancy teacups. I'd ask you where t11 is. Probably in your back since you don't have 11 toes. Do you?
I'd bring you some quilt magazines and handwork for when you feel up to it. I hope you will recover fast.
Wanna hear a blonde joke? I read it today on the Flourishing Palms quilt blog.
A blonde walks into the library and says, "I'd like a burger, fries and a Coke." The librarian is surprised and says, "Ma'm, this is a library." The blonde replies, "Oh, I'm so sorry!" Then she whispers, "I'd like a burger, fries and a Coke." Haha. That cracked me up. Dumb jokes and puns really speak to me! I hope you're not blonde, or I'd have tweaked the joke a little. Keep us posted when you feel up to it. I hope you're feeling better soon!

Oh, my sweet Jocelyn, you have had a year, haven't you! I am so sorry this has happened & hope your injury will quickly heal ... prayers lifting for you, special one.

No we aren't moving. I bought another rental ... this townhouse, as I do with all our properties, I make livable as if I were actually going to live in them. I'll be posting a lot of pictures when done. It is turning out beautifully. I allowed myself 2 weeks to flip my project, but preferred achievement in 7 days & this time WE did it in 5 days ... not counting waiting for the flooring & carpeting arrivals. I am just tickled pink all the construction, etc. is done.

Take care of yourself ... glad MIL is ok. Don't you just love those ambulance straps ...
I always get so nervous in the ambulances.

Have a beautiful summer's day ~

Oh my!!!!!! I am here. You just came over to my blog and asked for prayer. I so want to pray for you!!!

Heavenly Father........we come to You in Thanksgiving that You are the master HEALER! I lift Jocelyn to you In Jesus Name......the name above all names. We ask that you would work in her life to perfect her into your image and as she can't get around much we ask that you would teach her and show her you during this time. Thank you that she is wanting you to do a work in her life. We also ask that you would put a hedge of protection about her and keep her from any more harm to her back. Give her everything she needs as she rests and gets better. Just like the friends that took the man up on the roof and lowered him before You we ask humbly that You would do the same for Jocelyn. We thank you Father..... for what you will do.......we will tell others of your great work in her life. We ask this all in the Precious Holy Name Of Jesus Christ. Amen

Thank you so much for coming over and letting us all know that we can pray for you.

I wrote you last night on the last post. I was looking through your blog and noticed one of the fabric lines I did some years back in the box. It was the one that had PEACE LOVE AND JOY. How funny that you would have that just so I could see it. It warmed my heart that you had something I did!

Hugs sweet lady and we will be waiting to hear on what the Lord has done for you!
Blessings, Linda
