When my BFF came for a visit, the guest room was waiting. Here is the extra bedroom when we first saw the house.

I still need to figure out what kind of pictures and accessories to use. But my boys old bunk beds have never looked so good :-)
I've never had a "spare" room before for guests to stay. We were always displacing one of our children. It was always our dream to have a room to invite friends and visitors to stay comfortably with us. We feel so blessed to be able to share this space.
I am linking up with Remodelaholic. Stop by and visit the other re-do's.

Oh those rooms look so inviting :) I'm so glad you have the extra space you have wanted. Now do your best not to fill them up with stash...LOL.
Smiles,
Kelly
And a lovely space it is!! I still have one of my son's bunk beds in the basement bedroom :0)

What a nice job you've done!! Very pretty and inviting! :)
What a beautiful guest room! Looks like a bed and breakfast, you should decorate with your quilts. I wish I had a room to hang quilts.

So when can I come and visit now?? :) Bunk beds?!! WoW, they look awsome!
Who knew bunkbeds could be so beautiful, ready for guests to enjoy?
What a lovely room! I love the green color you painted the walls - so soothing and inviting. And those French doors leading outside are so nice. Anyone would feel comfortable staying in that room, Jocelyn. I know you will find just the right pictures and accessories...it just takes a little time!
XOXO,
Cyndi
Love the green on the walls. And that french door, wow, how nice. Just whip up a nice big quilt and hang it up on the wall, that should do it!
It looks wonderful~ very peaceful. The right accessories will turn up when you least expect them. Have fun!
Beautiful my friend. Truly, truly lovely! I've LOVED seeing your pics and the green paint is 2die4.
Thanks for sharing with us~
Love to you~
Rebecca
What pampering your guest will have in the new guest room!
Pretty! That room is so big, I love it!
Very nice!!
Keep the light on, I'll be right there. LOL! Seriously, it's gorgeous! How lovely to have two beds in there.
Hi, stopping by from The Painted Quilt and I became a new follower.
I love the spaciousness and feel of your guest room. Very pretty. Having a separate room for guests is nice. We have a guest suite in our basement (that used to be my parents suite) and it sure comes in handy with a large family.
I so enjoy your blog so congratulations! You have been awarded with the "I Love Your Blog" award...and thank you for sharing your creativity!! You can check it out on my blog:

Oh, what a lovely guest bedroom. I bet you have a gorgeous quilt or two to hang over those beds.
Where does the line form to be your BFF?? What an inviting space!!
Each room in your new home is looking better than the original owners! This is the first house that we have a guest room, too. Unfortunately, DS thinks it's his storage room :) Take care!
Stopping by from Remodelaholic's Anonymous! I just love this room. I told my husband that I want a place for our grandkids to come stay (once we have some)! This would be perfect!
I love the wall paint! What color is that? And the quilts are so comfy and cute!
I'd love for you to check out my site for a fun giveaway!

Love those bunk beds.
I'd love to stay there! Very sweet and cozy. :)
Love the color on the walls! What a lovely guest space. And so happy you have an actual sewing room - how sweet is that?
