Okay, now the most important room is still in the making. Several have asked where is my sewing room. So I will show you.
How we saw the laundry room on our first visit to the house.
The room cleaned out.
Starting to form a plan.
But of course we are still moving from the old house, so this is really what it looks like at the moment.
Starting to fill the cabinets with sewing paraphernalia.
At least it is beginning to take shape :-) My quilting fingers are itching to get started on a project. ANY project!

This looks as though you are going to have a wonderful sewing room, I just found your blog through another and I will visit you again, soon. Thanks for sharing your lovely home. Carolyn from Des Moines, Iowa

Wow - what a HUGE laundry room. It's so great you'll have such a wonderful sewing space.
very exciting! Looks like it's going to be a wonderful work space when you get settled!
Very nice! I wouldn't mind doing the laundry so much if I could sew at the same time. LOL :-)
I hope you get your sewing space all settled up real soon so you can get sewing! You and your sewing machine need to be together after all this time!
That is a great laundry space, and even better now that it can be your sewing room too. Looking forward to you sharing photos as it progresses.
I think it is going to be a great room. My sewing room is just a few steps from the laundry room and kitchen so I am able to sew quite a bit while I am doing daily tasks. I have lived in my house 9 months and it is starting to feel like our home instead of the former owners. It takes a lot of work doesn't it?
It's going to be awesome, Jocelyn. I admire the fact that you are taking your time and are thinking things out. Don't worry...you'll be settled soon enough and will be quilting to your heart's content!
I love the shelves to store your quilting things.
Nice space - have fun once you get to sewing.
You are going to have such fun in there.....I know you can't wait until you are all settled so you can play.
Oh my I go into withdrawal if I miss a couple of days sewing! hang in there work fast!
Very nice space, Jocelyn! If my laundry room had looked that good I might have kept my sewing room in there! Can't wait to see it all finished!
XOXO,
Cyndi
Looks great! And so close to the washer & dryer so when you was fabric, you can also be sewing! Love the house makeover so far!

Looking good girlie. I also love that you post a Bible verse on your blog. We are so fortunate all of us to have the Good Book to live by. My Bible is my truest treasure!
Looks like a nice place to create!
Wow, I have just been doing my art center this week...lots of work...mostly sorting out beads, buttons, material...it takes so long! I love your space...it is wonderful!!
And I know you'll love Fireproof..let me know how you like it.

Looking good. I don't know how you've made it this long......you'll have that machine purring in no time.
