Truncated!

I recently read a post about truncating blog posts.  It seems that there are folks out there that have nothing better to do then to pirate your blog.  I've not found my blog pirated, but I have been receiving some suspicious comments.  Also when I check my stats, there are some very strange sites listed as referring my blog.  So I thought I would truncate my blog posts for a while and see if that helps.

I've collected lots of scrap fabrics, so I thought I would try to work on a strippy quilt again.  I love THIS ONE by Busy Hands Quilts with the black centers.  I came across a black sheet a while ago that I was going to use for backing.  But as it has some worn spots, I think it will work great for a strippy quilt.

Happy Quilting!!

I've had the same problem with my blog, so I started moderating my comments. It hasn't stopped the spam, but at least it doesn't get published.
Good luck with your scrap quilt (love them!)

Yes, I have had an huge increase with spam so started moderating so it doesn't get published. Can't imagine anyone wanting to copy what I've written though :-)

I don't know if anyone has 'copied' my blog posts, but, I was getting tons of spam comments. They all quit after I changed and don't allow anonymous comments anymore.

I moderate my comments after the first day. Something simple. Have you gotten your prize yet????? I'm so excited for you!

good luck on your blog.
I really like this block. And the black in the middle is wonderful. Is this the block that you make a strip block and then cut it in fourths?

I had to stop allowing anonymous comments and that helped a lot. Please don't switch permanently to truncated posts - I don't like them!
