Christmas sewing

Are you madly working on Christmas projects??  I'm not sure I would qualify for "madly", but I am working on trying to finish up a few things.

I started making this table runner for a friend, and at first used the large Poinsettia fabric for the borders.

Wow!  It was too overwhelming.  So I cut out the holly fabric and liked it much better. I hope I can get it finished in time for my friend to use it on her Christmas table.

Be sure to stop by and visit all the wonderful blogs that are participating in the SewMamaSew Giveaway day.  And don't forget to leave a comment.  You can find my post HERE.

Happy Quilting!

It is beautiful! I'm helping grands to make headbands for their sisters, mom and cousins so not much time for me to work on my own blocks. Your friend will be blessed!
Hugs, Noreen

I think the green fabric border works well, now the center stars stand out. Wonderful table topper. I am sure she will love it.
