My daughter is a world traveler. She has been to many different countries. Her most recent being South Korea where she is teaching English.
The Korean "White House" where the president lives.
My daughter says Seoul is a very large city. With some of her students.
Have you ever traveled out of the country? I have only been to Canada and to Belgium. What places have you traveled to?

About 30-40 years ago, DH and I were on vacation to Henry Ford Museum in Detroit and crossed the border to Windsor Canada for about an hour. And on a short cruise about 10-12 years ago, we got off the boat and walked around Nassau Bahamas for a couple of hours.
There are places I'd like to see, but right now dealing with all the travel woes from worker shortages holds no appeal, even for places in the US I'd like to visit.
I was an exchange student nearly 50 years ago to a town outside of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia - for a year. It was absolutely the best experience of my life! Hubby & I have been back several times, and we've also been to Mexico and to Canada. We've lived in 3 states here in the US, although as a child I also lived in 4 other states as well as going through many states going back and forth to California to visit here (which is where we now live). Traveling overseas and stateside are wonderful ways to learn how others live, different cultures, etc and also make you appreciate where you live that much more. Deb E
Just amazing - it looks so beautiful!! I've only ever been to Canada, lots of family there so we've gone there a lot - and since the border is 45 minutes south of me, it's been easy, until covid of course. I would have loved to have traveled in my youth, but it just didn't happen, and now the thought of it just doesn't appeal, lol. I like being home!
My parents are from Europe so I've visited relatives in England and Belgium with a stop over in Ireland. In my teens, we spent summers vacationing in British Columbia Canada. It was so beautiful. We live in Southern California and have crossed the border to Rosarita Beach in Baha Mexico many times. We haven't been back in over 20 years. We feel it is no longer safe. About 15 years ago I went on a missions trip for 10 days to Russia. We mostly stayed in 3 small towns north of Moscow. That was a very memorable trip and I never want to go there again. Kissed the ground when we got back to the U.S.!! My husband and I have traveled to 12 of our nations states and loved every state we visited. There is so much beauty and history. If South Dakota didn't get so much snow, we would love to live near the black hills. At our age, hubby is pushing 80 and I won't say my age, I'm happy to visit the beach and mountains just a hours drive from us. I no longer have the desire to travel.
I've only ever been to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, and Turkey. My trip to Scotland got canceled two years ago due to the pandemic, and we haven't rescheduled yet. Iceland, Italy, Ireland, and Belgium are also on my list; but, at 63, I better get cracking!
