Last week while my grandchildren were off of school I took them to the zoo. It reminded me of a fun quilt I saw once at a quilt show.
Sorry I don't know who made it, but it was a fun depiction of a zoo.

I looks like a wonderful time and I see everyone with big happy smiles. And lucky you, for getting such perfect weather for a perfect day.
That is a cute quilt. I got to take my grandkids to the Tulsa Zoo a couple of years ago (we used to live in Tulsa, and I took my boys there when they were growing up). I've not gone to the zoo's in the Chicago area.
