Take ties for instance. Would you make or wear one of these??

I can just hear my "MIL" now if I take the antique chair she gave us and re worked the seat in "OLD" ties. Thanks for the laugh! Seriously, great recycling and crafting. Just not my style. Where did you travel to in the Georgia mountains? Did you stop at any of the quilt shops there? I like the one in downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The north Georgia mountains are one of my favorite places.
Haha - er, no? Wonder about the price :)
The skirt is cute. Young girl might go for that. Chair, not so much. At least they did not get thrown away!!
I think the skirt is adorable, but it would need about 40 more ties to go around me!
Well... yes, I would! Everything has it's purpose... in it's own time!! Thanks Jocelyn!
To be honest, I would toss any extra ties, but I don't have that issue as my guy doesn't wear them :0) I can hear some quilters/crafters gasping that I would toss them LOL.

Yes, I would definitely wear that skirt...if it fit.
That skirt's a little younger than I am, if you know what I mean :) But I love the idea of using ties to re-cane the chair!
Well I wouldn't do it, but I do love recycling! I'd make a quilt of silk ties....
Hmm, not too sure about either of those.
That is such a cute skirt! I'm a little too old and little too fat to do it justice though, so I'll just admire it in a photo.
