Do you have projects that will never get finished in 2010?? Ha, ha, me too :-)
My daughter made this quilt top a few years ago when we both made this pattern that was published in a magazine.
I think it will be the first one to be quilted on the Bernina in the New Year.
And during our move this summer, there were some ITW (in the works) projects that resurfaced. So I have put them on the list for completion in 2011.
I actually started this quilt a couple of years ago, but completely forgot about it. I even bought black batting to use.
A year ago when I sprained my right foot I picked up the knitting needles again. But it was not until my fall this summer that I actually made anything.
I love the fun "eyelash" yarn, so I've been working on scarves. I think I've made 5 so far.
And this one is in the works :-)
I hope your day is full of sunshine today. We are heading for some typical balmy 70 degree days.
Happy Quilting :-)

I think we all have some projects that are not yet finished. I am going to try and get some of mine done too. Can't wait to see these done.
Sure is interesting how lots of quilters start talking abou UFO'S and WIP's at the start of every New Year. Me too!
I did the same thing 2 yrs. ago with the scarves and knitting..very relaxing, isn't it.
Have fun.
Those quilts are gorgeous. Especially the black one. It is different than anything I've seen before. Good luck in getting them done in the new year!
That red white and blue quilt is fantastic!! Fun to find 'new' things that haven't been finished yet!
What do you mean--a couple ufo's--some of us--well some of us have "lots" of ufo's--so this is my year of the ufo!!! I also do enjoy doing some knitting--it is a nice change of pace from sewing and hand quilting!!
Hugs, di and miss gracie
Ha - do I have some projects that won't get finished! I'm not even going to count! What fun ones you have coming - looking forward to seeing them all done up!
Great quilts, and a good way to start 2011. Love the scarves - I like that eyelash yarn too, but it's no fun to crochet - I'd have to learn to knit to use it!
Oh yes, there are a few that won't be done by 2010 and one that will be lucky to be completed in 2011 LOL.
It's good that some quilting has resurfaced and lovely ones too :0)
