Have you ever been to a place called Paradise?? I am so fortunate to live in a place of balmy days and enduring sunshine.
Many friends that visit from the north expect to see only sand, seashore, flamingos and palm trees.
Here is a little bit of My Florida..........
I never tire of the beauty that surrounds me. There are certainly some places that fall short, but when we look for the good, we will almost always find some ray of sunshine.
Have a very wonder filled weekend!

Your part of Florida is just beautiful! I love Spanish Moss! I used to visit Florida a lot growing up. Had relatives there we'd go down to check in on and then go on vacation with the palm trees, flamingos and ocean/beach. Haven't been down there since 79' when my DH and I went to see my great-aunt.
You're making me homesick (even though I'm born and bred in Atlanta)!
LOVELY photos! Thanks for sharing your part of FL with us.
You live in a beautiful place. I am always amazed how green Florida is even in the summertime. Thanks for all your comments. I appreciate every one!

Those are just lovely pictures Jocelyn. I've been thinking of taking pictures of my neck of the US to share. Your post just convinced me to do it.

Beautiful! I used to visit my grand parents in Jacksonville. We would go to St. Augustine. This reminds me of those times. We've been all over Florida on other trips. I always think I'm so lucky to live in East Tenn. because it's so pretty here, but there is beauty everywhere.
Absolutely breathtaking, thanks for sharing. (We still have snow on the mountain tops in Utah...**sigh**)
I love the spanish moss hanging from the trees. Being a product of the south having lived in South Carolina, North Carolina and now Virginia and having a mother from Alabama this moss hanging from the trees brings up memories from summers running around barefoot..cause ya know after May shoes come off and don't hit our feet again until school starts...and if you saw my feet today you would know that some things never change.
I have been to Florida and it is very pretty. There is a town in Pennsylvania called Paradise. Amish country I think.
What lovely photos and such a pretty place. I love the cart with the flowers and the two big pots of petunias on the porch.
I am a native Floridian, but have lived in GA most of my life. I treasure every trip I get to take there and hope one day to return permantly. Born in St. Pete in Pinelas Park, lived in Oneco & Bradenton as a child. I do miss it and THANK you sharing your pictures and for bringing back some childhood memories.
Jocelyn, be sure and look at my blog and see my post, two photos are for you.
Oh I love Florida - always have. Such beauty. Well, except for the bugs, and the heat in high summer, lol - a bit too much for this Northern gal! But when everything here is covered in a blanket of white, and the skies stay grey all the time, I dream of Florida and it's fabulous color.
Oh my goodness, so lush! A feast for this desert dweller's eyes.
Oh but the birds, oh my gosh what ARE those birds? I love bird so, those are so special!
