How are you doing working on Christmas gifts? I have been trying to finish up on gifts to give this year. It can be a bit overwhelming when I think about it, but I am determined to try.
Please tell me what you are doing, and what has inspired you this year. And share any links that will give inspiration.

I am making a new holiday table runner for many on my list. They will also get matching bowl cozies and pot holders or matching sofa pillows to carry the seasonal look from the dining room to the living room (depending upon which they need). I can't stand walking into someone's house and seeing a plain, plastic tablecloth they got at Walmart - not for Christmas.
What helps is that I don't have so many gifts to make or to give. I also do the work early in the year and all year through. I'm sure your projects are much more than mine in terms of quantity so just do the best your can. Your gifts are a wonderful way to show you care. All the best.
I'm a brand new quilter with only one quilt under my belt. I'm planning on making Christmas pot holders so I can practice quilting. Not sure if I will actually end up making any that are good enough to give away, but I'm learning a lot and having fun doing it! As a newbie, that's good enough for me!
I don't make gifts much any more. I don't need the pressure :-)
That said, I currently have a small quilt waiting to be quilted for GD. And I'm going to make her mother a full/queen quilt, but haven't started it yet. At least I had the foresight when I asked her favorite color, not to make her think it would be done for Christmas.
We stopped buying gifts for everyone years ago. We still do for kids, and that's easy. I have sewn pillow cases and given them as gift for housewarming. For Christmas, I usually bake banana bread, blueberry muffin cake and cookies as gifts to neighbors and friends.

I'm making Turkey placemats for my grandkids https://www.accuquilt.com/go-let-s-talk-turkey-placemats-pattern.html I'm stitching the binding down now so that I can get them in the mail early, so that they can use them for Thanksgiving. I'm also working on a quilt for our niece, who will be married in early January.
