There were some issues with my blog this weekend. Crispy let me know that something was floating on my page. Well, not being computer savvy, I had the techy guy find out what was going on. It seems that the wallpaper that was on my blog (the cute little flowers) were from an account that was being overused (or something). Anyway, after a little detective work, the techy guy found the source of the problem and eradicated it . Ya-hoo! I don't like thingies floating around the face of my blog.
Jen over at Elefanz is having a Sewing Machine Cover challenge. Because of my foot, I did not think I would be able to participate in the sewing part. But on Friday I was ceased with a desire to create, and this is the product of my effort -
I've been needing a cover for my sewing machine for a long time, and Jen just gave me the incentive.
It's so fun to play with yo-yo's and buttons. And I am so glad to replace the plastic cover with this new one.
Thanks Jen! What a fun project. Pop over to Jen's blog and view the other covers that have been created.
Happy Quilting!

Very cute sewing machine cover!! Will she ever want to take that cute dress off?
I love the machine cover, don't have anything but the boring plastic one... Hmmm, looks like I can add another project to the to do list! ;-)
What a nice sewing machine cover. I really need to make one as I use an old table cloth to cover mine up. Thanks for sharing and I am glad your foot was healed enough for you to sew.
Great sewing machine cover. I'm in the market to be making all new ones - probably after Christmas. I have saved your cover in my "to do" folder.
Sew - does this mean you're back to "sewing" more?

It is a lovely cover! I took a look at Jen's blog, beautiful work, too!
Hahaha - Jocelyn, your comment on my dishaholic post cracked me up! Yes, I use all my pieces. I don't know if you knew, but I am from SE Asia. Years ago, some friends of my mother bought her a really nice set of English china. She "saved" them in our storage room in the house, only to have the room broken into and the dishes stolen. So, I decided right then if I ever come into possession of some nice pieces, I am going to USE THEM! And used them I have!!!
Have a blessed day!
I am glad that your foot is well enough for you to sew a little! I have been intending to make a sewing machine cover now forever. I still have the clear plastic one that came with my machine! Ick!
